Appendix 3 - Development Management Toolkit
This Toolkit was based on a document written by Colette Beckham (Cornwall AONB Manager) revised in 2013. It provides a framework for making decisions relating to specific development proposals, to identify the landscapes's sensitivity to the proposed change, the value of the landscape within which the development is proposed, and whether the landscape has the capacity to accept the change without adverse impact.


The document has been trialled by Cornwall Council Planning Officers and has now been formally adopted by Cornwall Council. It will form part of a Supplementary Planning Document associated with the emerging Cornwall Local Plan.  .
