Roseland Character Document
Supporting Development in the Roseland Landscape
Many of the Roseland Plan Policies refer to the character of the area. It was deemed important to describe the character of the Roseland in some detail, for its own sake and to assist in the assessment of planning appications in the 5 Parishes.

A large group of people were involved in generating the information required, and the final document was produced by Graham Webb, assisted by Yvonne Fuller, Caroline Coldwell and Sue Wagstaff. Julian German (Cornwall Councillor) ensured that the document was discussed with the 5 Parish Councils.

In October 2017, he said 'I am delighted to let you know that the Roseland Character Guide has been agreed by our five Parish Councils. There were some minor amendments, mostly typo, that Graham has carried out. Cornwall Council has sent to planning officers for use when determining Roseland planning applications.'
