Conformity / Non-Conformity Letters
The process set out below has been agreed by the relevant Organisations.
1. Planning Applications are assessed by the Planning Assessment Group for conformity or non-conformity
with The Roseland Plan.
2. Letters describing the conformity or the details of the non-conformity are sent in the first instance to the
appropriate Parish Council and our Cornwall Councillor.
3. After any relevant discussions, the letters are sent to the Planning Officer responsible for making a decision
on the Application. Normally, the letters are displayed on the Cornwall Council website with the other
'Related Documents'.
4. A record is being kept of the conformity or non-conformity of each Planning Application, along with the
views of the Parish Council and the Cornwall Councillor and the final decision of the Planning Officer /
Cornwall Council. The intention is to review the information every 2 years.
Copies of the letters are downloadable below: .
